FIA GT: Tomas Enge expecting an autumn series of races - 03.10.2008
Four weekends, four circuits, four different races. This is the autumn shedule of Tomas Enge. Just the day after tomorrow he will start at Nogaro for the Aston Martin Racing Team, next Saturday there are his four hours at Nürburgring, the weekend after that he will drive in the same colours at Zolder and his racing tour is finished on Saturday, October 25th at Brno´s Epilog. This will determine Division Four Champions of royal category Czech Circuits Series. And to top it all, right after Brno he is going to Portugal for testing…
„One would say that the time will be restful in October, at the end of the season. But contrary is the case…,“ says Tomas, smiling: „I have to admit that each of my autumn schedule events is quite pleasant. I´m really looking forward.“
Of course. At Nogaro and Zolder he will be accompanied by his German colleague Stefan Mücke in the new car Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2. At Northern Loop of Nürburgring, which became his favourite this year, he will share the car Aston Martin V8 with Austrian Robert Lechner. Epilog will mean the final battle for the international Czech Circuits Champions, together with his colleagues of the Charouz Racing System Team. He will be driving one of his favourite toys - Mercedes AMG DTM C-Klasse. After Brno´s six hours race he will be testing with the Aston Martin Racing Team at Estoril from Wednesday to Friday.

„Vantage is something like my kid. As an Aston Martin Racing Team pilot I have watched its development since the beginning,“ tells Tomas. „The Northern Loop became my favourite one, after I have tried it this year. That´s why every race on this spectacular track is a pleasure for me. Brno will be big, for fans it means an attractive fight of our Mercedes cars and Audi competitors. And testing at Estoril with my team will be a nice end of my tour. It is the team I like and have been working for for a long time,“ he adds.
