Lineup of the Reiter Engineering Pilots for the GT1 World Championship 2012 - 19.03.2012
Team principal Hans Reiter is excited to announce the finalisation of the line-up of his team‘s pilots.
Peter Kox (NDL) will share a Lamborghini Gallardo with Darryl O´Young (CHN). Albert von Thurn and Taxis (DEU) will share another care with Tomas Enge (CZE).
A very experienced pilot and familiar with the Lamborghini, Peter Kox competed in the 2010 and 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship races in a Murcielago. Darryl O´Young is a very popular Chinese pilot and won the world-famous Macau Grand Prix three times.
Albert von Thurn und Taxis won the 2010 ADAC GT Masters Championship and is very familiar with the Gallardo. Tomas Enge has extensive GT1 experience and has been a very successful.
Team principal Hans Reiter, “We are ready. We have excellent driver duos and two powerful cars. We definitely want to compete for the championship title. Stephane Ratel (SRO) developed a successful concept winning great cars and drivers for the championship. This is added value for the international motorsports and will spark interest on the individual continents.”
The first race of the 2012 Championship season will take place in Nogaro, France from April 7th-8th, 2012.
