Tomas Enge participated in the official presentation of FIA GT1 World Championship - 04.03.2010

Young Driver AMR team’s driver Tomas Enge participated in the official presentation of FIA GT1 World Championship in Paris (March 1st). Manufacturers of Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati, Nissan, Corvette and Ford, who enter the opening edition of FIA GT1 World Championship, presented themselves at Place de la Concorde.

A press conference with two special guests – FIA president Jean Todt and Championship’s CEO Stephane Ratel – took place in the headquarters of FIA. Tomas Enge attended the whole Monday program, which included the presentation of the Championship, cars’ revelation and the dinner party.

On the occasion of the FIA GT1 World Championship presentation, the drivers expressed their support to the Make Roads Safe campaign, which goal is to reduce the number of road crashes victims up to the half by the year 2020. 

Tomas Enge, Young Driver AMR team’s driver: “We spent a nice day in Paris, and I am looking forward to the opening round of the FIA GT1 World Championship in Abu Dhabi. Actually each of drivers can’t wait the start of the season. Also all the drivers gave the support to the Make Roads Safe campaign. I think it’s very useful and needed activity.”
